Cobra team practices are held according to the following schedules:

 

 

Cross Country

 

Season – September through December

 

Practices are held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:00 PM.  Meet on track behind Hope High SchoolHope Street. 

Practice is varied dependent on meet schedule and individual conditioning.  Distance workouts are emphasized.  Dress for weather.

 

Indoor Track

 

Season – December through April

 

Practice days will vary according to facility scheduling. Practice times are typically 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. However, these may also vary. Check schedule listing for specific dates and times.

 

Notes: Athletes and parents are reminded to be prompt in attending practices. Availability of track facilities is limited and shared with other community groups. In order to maximize the opportunity to work out, athletes must be on time, warmed up, and ready for team activity.

Outdoor Track

 

Season – April through August

 

Practices are held Monday, Wednesday, & Friday at 6:00 PM.  Meet on track behind Hope High SchoolHope Street.  Practice times/days may be varied depending age level, experience, meet schedule, and individual conditioning.  Track workouts are emphasized.  Additional opportunities for training on distance and selected field events.

 

NOTES:  Athletes and parents are reminded to be prompt in attending practices.  Availability of track facilities is limited and shared with other community groups.  In order to maximize the opportunity to work out, athletes must be on time, warmed up, and ready for team activity.

 

Always dress for situation and come prepared with personal hydration (water, sports drinks, etc…)

Outside practice will be held if weather permits.  Practice will be held in a light rain.  A heavy rain will cancel activities at the coach’s discretion.
